The group and website originated from the vision of an American-German whose family legacy includes service as German Officers in the World Wars. His pride in the Fatherland, Deutschland, is a driving force behind this endeavor.
Although initiated by him, our group comprises multiple historians, each with expertise in military history and/or German history. They contribute additional research and photos to enrich the project. Our members hail from both the United States and Germany.
